Released in the year 1998, Dulhe Raja stands out as one of the funniest and out of the world satire ever to hit the silver screen. Govinda plays Raja who clearly is more dominant than any law implementation authority or even a business tycoon in the city. He runs a wrongfully infringed Dhaba inside the premises of five-star lodging. The lodging’s proprietor Mr. Singhania (Kader Khan) attempts his best to get him expelled yet every time Raja comes with a mischievous plan. The most concerning issue for him begins when his little girl Kiran (Raveena Tandon) falls head over heels in love with Raja. Hopeless Singhaniya now stoops down to inconceivable lows to handle Raja which prompts some divertingly amusing scenes and situations.
Dulhe Raja has a plot which is straight out of this world. The comic sequences are silly to such an extent that we probably won’t dream about such an absurd sequence ever. However, they are really occurring here and trust me they will make you take off with chuckling. If one needs to appreciate Dulhe Raja, he/she needs to leave his/her minds at home. If you attempt to find a meaning to the film, you would surely miss the entertainment. Simply sit back and let the satirical gags take you over.
Govinda and Kader Khan have such fun chemistry between them that the viewers will have a brief period to take a gander at whatever else. There gags together will bring out both giggling just as stun from the viewers. At that point, there is Jonney Lever as Banke, the inn supervisor who has flawless comic planning and would go to any degree to help Raja. His collaborations with Kader Khan will also extricate a considerable measure of laughter. Dulhe Raja gives a progression of exceptionally amusing moments. It is carried on by two of the best poignant of the class in the Hindi Film Industry woven together with some tolerable activity and a couple of catchy dance moves and songs. It’s a commendable watch whenever one feels lost or low. It will spring you back to life.
Poor Raja opens a fast-food restaurant inverse a five-star lodging kept running by its proprietor Singhania, winning his anger. The well off lodging proprietor utilizes all his impact to expel Raja, yet futile. Things deteriorate for the rich man when his girl Kiran needs to wed the poor hotelier. The well off man can’t, prompting an encounter and a condition – which Raja fulfills, and becomes wealthy overnight and proposes for the hand of Kiran. The rich hotelier reluctantly acknowledges him as his son-in-law, just to have Kiran run off with a man named Rahul.
The entire cast is well-picked. Govinda works admirably interlacing (clean) humor in each activity and discourse to keep the group of spectators in parts. He figured out how to achieve his hilarious pinnacle set by Coolie No.1, Saajan Chale Sasural, Hero No.1, and Deewana Mastana, which he failed to acquire success in the later releases. Raveena just plays the normal rich young lady with-a-terrible acting skill.
Govinda was in his usual ‘Raja Dhaba Wala’ get-up and absurd, patent Govinda outfits. ‘Akhiyon Se Goli Maari’ was the hit of the collection, however, was a big disappointment in the film, to the extent the attire and picturization goes. You can watch Dulhe Raja movie on Youtube for free.
